Expert tour: In the footsteps of Gottfried Silbermann - Saxony's most famous master organ builder

We will be happy to provide you with an individual offer according to your needs and requirements.

Day 1

After a relaxed check-in at the hotel, the hosts of our exclusively family-run hotels await you with a three-course meal.
After the culinary feast, you will experience a very special kind of listening pleasure: an organ concert in St. Mary's Cathedral on the world-famous Silbermann organ. You will be thrilled by the worldwide unique sound of the organ and dream of this event long after the concert.

Day 2

Now get to know Freiberg with its late medieval old town centre, characterized by magnificent town houses and winding streets, during a guided tour of the city. A guided tour of the cathedral follows - admire the famous Golden Gate and the Tulip Pulpit or look at the angels holding original Renaissance instruments on the ceiling of the funeral chapel. In your free time we recommend a visit to the largest and most beautiful mineral exhibition in the world, terra mineralia in Freiberg.

FOR FREE ARRANGEMENT (OPTIONAL)
An excursion to the eastern Ore Mountains, e.g. to Frauenstein, about 20 km from Freiberg and the birthplace of the organ builder Gottfried Silbermann, is a must for organ lovers. The little Ore Mountain town is home to the Silbermann Museum - a real treasure trove for music lovers.

Day 3

AT YOUR LEISURE
We recommend a full-day excursion to Dresden with a guided tour of the city or the Semper Opera House, or a tour of the Ore Mountains along the Silver Route to Annaberg-Buchholz with a visit to the Annen church, then on through the Ore Mountains landscape to the famous Christmas village of Seiffen, where childhood Christmas dreams come true.

Day 4

Full of impressions and perhaps overwhelmed by the uniqueness of the landscape, the cities as well as the Saxon hospitality you will start your journey home. Our hosts will see you off personally at the bus.
